QUAD Vena II Play Integrated Streaming Amplifier

Just Add Speakers: Quad Vena II Play Integrated Streaming Amplifier Features DTS PlayFI Multi-Room Technology, High-Res DAC, Headphone Amplifier, and MM Phono Preamplifier

Want Quad's renowned timbral accuracy and transparent fidelity not only in one room, but potentially in your entire house? Just add speakers to the company's Vena II Play integrated streaming amplifier and you're in business. Equipped with DTS PlayFi multi-room wireless technology, a sterling high-resolution DAC, dedicated headphone amplifier, and an RIAA-equalized moving-magnet phono preamplifier with JFET-based circuitry, the easy-to-use Vena II Play produces high-end sound regardless of the source you choose.

Utilizing a top-shelf ES9018K2M chip from the Sabre32 reference line, Vena II Play converts PCM files up to 32bit/384kHz as well as DSD256 into incredibly warm, natural music. Whether you prefer Qobuz, TIDAL, Amazon Music, Spotify, or another popular service, Vena Play II provides high-resolution audio from virtually any location and source via the latest aptX Bluetooth and AAC codecs – as well as DTS PlayFi networking technology.

By using DTS's user-friendly app on any smart device, you'll be streaming your favorite subscription service playlists or NAS-stored files within minutes of unpacking Vena II Play. Easily controllable by the swipe of a finger from its palm-sized remote, it takes the hassle out of high-end network audio and puts the spotlight where it belongs – on the music itself.

With 30,000uF of total power reservoir capacity, the 45Wpc Vena II Play is capable of driving both bookshelf and tower speakers Its massive 200VA toroidal transformer packs a punch that belies the entire unit's modest 3.6 x 12.3 x 11.8-inch (HWD) footprint. An ultra-quiet linear power supply abets architecture that reduces electromagnetic and radio interference that causes distortion.

Three S/PDIF inputs, an asynchronous USB interface, and an Ethernet port make this versatile amplifier a snap to use with a dizzying array of files and a vast array of equipment, from TV sound bars to disc players and outboard DACs. Vena II Play even comes equipped with a set of stereo outputs so it can be used to drive a separate amplifier.
