AudioQuest - FireBird 48 HDMI Cable

AudioQuest FireBird 48 HDMI Cable

Want exceptional 8K video transmission and unforgettable sound? Get the AudioQuest FireBird 48 HDMI cable. Able to support all 8K applications and transfer up to professional-grade 10K Ultra HD video, it features direction-controlled 100% Perfect-Surface Silver conductors for the most efficient dissipation of radio-frequency noise.

What's more, high-loss graphene is added to the carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the four fixed-rate link (FRL) and eARC pairs, and a "global" high-loss carbon layer is placed around all conductors. Finally, AudioQuest's patented 72v Dielectric-Bias System further enhances noise dissipation. Yes, this baby is reference all the way down to its core.

Providing audiophile-quality sonics to complement its cutting-edge video-based performance for movies, games, and more, FireBird 48 supports resolutions/refresh rates up to 8K/60 and 4K/120. And it is completely backwards-compatible with existing 4K displays. FireBird 48 also interfaces with all varieties of HDR (including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision), found on Ultra HD Blu-ray and all major streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney+, Apple TV+, and more.

100% Perfect-Surface Silver Conductors (HDMI)
In AudioQuest 48 HDMI cables, increasingly thick layers of silver plating are applied to long-grain copper (LGC) conductors to improve noise dissipation. FireBird 48 uses AudioQuest's best conductor metal, 100% Perfect-Surface Silver, for its conductors.

Level 6 Noise Dissipation: 72V DBS + Graphene + Global Carbon + Directionality
Traditional shielding is not enough to guard against the increasingly prevalent effects of Wi-Fi, cellular, and satellite radiation. In AudioQuest HDMI cables, all 19 conductors are direction-controlled to minimize the RF noise that damages performance by "directing" or draining it away from the most vulnerable circuits.

In Level 5 Noise Dissipation, high-loss graphene is added to the carbon layer sandwiched between layers of metal around the four FRL + eARC pairs, and a "global" high-loss carbon layer is placed around all conductors. Level 6 Noise Dissipation, AudioQuest's most advanced and comprehensive means of addressing induced radio-frequency noise, incorporates all of the sophisticated techniques found in other models and adds AudioQuest's patented 72v Dielectric-Bias System.

eARC: 100% Silver + Level 6 Noise Dissipation
Because sound matters, the eARC conductors in AudioQuest's 48 Series HDMI cables receive equal love and affection, featuring the same superior metals, direction-controlled conductors, and noise-dissipation technologies as the main AV data pairs.

Ultra-High-Speed HDMI Cable
The Ultra-High-Speed HDMI Cable is the first cable defined by the HDMI Forum. Ultra-High-Speed HDMI Cables comply with stringent specifications designed to ensure support for high-resolution video modes such as 4Kp50/60/100/120 and 8Kp50/60 as well as new features such as eARC and VRR. Ultra-High-Speed HDMI Cables exceed the requirements of the latest international EMI standards to significantly reduce the probability of interference with wireless services such as Wi-Fi.

HDMI 2.1
HDMI 2.1 is the most recent update of the HDMI specification and supports a range of higher video resolutions and refresh rates including 8K/60 and 4K/120, and resolutions up to 10K. Dynamic HDR formats are also supported, and bandwidth capability is increased up to 48Gbps. Supports HDCP 2.3.
