This beautifully crafted hand made amp is designed to deliver the wonderful sound of the original classic Marantz 8B amp with features and build quality that would not have been dreamed of in the 1960's or 1970's. The Cayin Audio A-50T MKII uses four EL-34 Output Tubes for Class AB1 Push Pull Amplification, but is upgradable to KT-88 Tubes (not included) by a switch on the bottom of the unit. The craftsmanship is first rate, inside and outside. The torodial power transformer and EI output transformers are specially designed and manufactured for the Cayin A-50T MKII.
 
Cayin's unique Soft-start circuit helps extend tube life (typically 3000 hours!). The removable cage snaps on and off anytime. Cover on has a clean classic look, cover off... Keep On Glowin'.
 
Once the cover is off the Bias adjustment controls and test points are easily accessible and adjustable from the top of the Chassis. The amp is very stable and typically won't need a bias adjustment for about 1000 hours.
