Anne Bisson Portraits And Perfumes on 180g Vinyl LP

Canadian jazz vocalist/pianist extraordinaire Anne Bisson returns with her stunning sophomore album, Portraits & Perfumes, the follow-up to her critically acclaimed 2009 audiophile debut Blue Mind. Bisson is supported here by the best jazz musicians Quebec can offer as well as legendary producer/conductor/arranger Gut St-Onge on a 9-song opus of jazz standards featuring expansive, original arrangements and covers.

Alongside the two new Bisson-penned originals, "What's Wrong With Me?" and "Ripples" are brilliant and charming adaptations of Pink Floyd's "Us and Them," The Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends," Carole King's "Call Me/You've Got A Friend" and Hoagy Carmichael's "The Nearness Of You" among others. 180g audiophile vinyl mastered by Carl Rowatti at Trutone Mastering Labs, New York.
