The Cambridge Audio Azur 651W isn't going to impress with fancy bells and whistles. Rather, this immensely powerful two-channel amplifier prefers to keep it simple, delivering rich, dynamic, room-filling sound that will have you scampering to play records, discs, and files you thought you knew backwards and forwards. Pushing the performance limits of a sub-$1k power amplifier, the dual-mono Azur 651W is equipped with an oversize audiophile-grade toroidal transformer and two pairs of high-current output transistors per channel that help drive almost any speaker with no-fuss ease. Simply mate it with a suitable preamplifier, and you'll instantly enjoy high-end bliss.

Azur 651W's dual-mono design means it yields superior stereo separation, imaging, and soundstaging compared to most competing amplifiers. Outputting 100Wpc into 8 ohms (150Wpc into 4 ohms), it lives to supply enormous power with extremely low distortion, courtesy of a huge extruded heatsink. Balanced and unbalanced inputs allow for excellent connectivity, and two pairs of speaker outputs make bi-wiring a cinch. You could even drive two pairs of speakers simultaneously.

Outfitted with Cambridge Audio's CAP5 protection, Azur 651W guards against clipping, damage, short circuits, and overcurrents.
