David Johansen David Johansen on Numbered Limited Edition Colored Vinyl LP

Also Available on Numbered Limited Edition 200g Vinyl

David Johansen, lead singer of the 1970s protopunk band the New York Dolls, released his first solo album in 1978 shortly after the band's near 20 year hiatus that began in 1977. David Johansen features fellow New York Dolls guitarist, Sylvain Sylvain, who co-wrote four of the record’s songs, along with Joe Perry of Aerosmith. While his debut solo album bears a closer resemblance to the New York Dolls than his later work, Johansen truly begins to cultivate his own style of powerful, soulful vocals and a polished sound for the first time here.

Features:

• Limited foil-numbered editions of 1,500 200g black vinyl and 500 150g colored vinyl LPs manufactured for pristine sound at Quality Record Pressings
• Mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray at Cohearent Audio
• Faithful, yet updated art printed at Stoughton Printing Co.
