Austin, TX's Sweet Spirit return on Nine Mile Records with their long-awaited sophomore full-length St. Mojo. Recorded at Austin's fabled Treehouse Studios, St. Mojo features a bigger, more dynamic set of songs and expands on the garage rock-meets-dance pop of the band's debut record Cokomo. Producer Steve Berlin (Los Lobos, Deer Tick, Diamond Rugs), along with members of Grupo Fantasma and Mother Falcon, add depth and nuance to many of the tracks. From the arena rock thump of first single "The Power" to the Queen-esque ballad "The Mighty" to the dance funk of "I Wanna Have You," the band covers a lot of musical terrain here.
