Elvis Costello Mighty Like a Rose 180g Colored Vinyl LP
 
Just like its predecessor Spike (1989), Elvis Costello's Mighty Like A Rose (1991) is an album that twists and turns in its stylistic delivery. Costello collaborated once again here with Mitchell Froom and Kevin Killen for the production and notably co-wrote two tracks alongside Paul McCartney ("So Like Candy," "Playboy To A Man").
 
Mighty Like a Rose yielded the single "The Other Side Of Summer" and peaked at No. 5 on the UK Albums Chart. "Needless to say, I did not imagine that I would be recording any of this record during wartime when I wrote it, although I was looking at the world without much affection," Costello said.
 
"Many of my early records have been described as being ‘angry,' a quality I think is exaggerated by a quirk in my vocal delivery. However, if you really want to hear an angry record, then this disc is for you." Colored 180g vinyl LP with insert.
