SOLIDSTEEL Hyper Spike HF Series Audio Rack
Corner-Free Shelving and Four-Pillar Design Form Basis of Reference Isolation: Gorgeous Solidsteel Hyperspike HF Series Audio Racks Provide Incredible Component Support
The presence of the highly polished, smooth steel rods delightfully contrasting with the black, quadrangular MDF shelves alone tells you the four-pillar Solidsteel Hyperspike HF Series of audio racks isn't any ordinary audio furniture. Welded together with precision-based care and handmade in Italy, each elegant Hyperspike HF model features rounded, corner-free shelving designed to accommodate large high-end components and give them unfettered support. Securing screws, adjustable locking insulating spikes, and solid-steel decoupling pads add to the isolation-tailored performance. Rubber o-rings further enhance the overall fit and significantly reduce the transmission of mechanical energy. With the premier Hyperspike HF Series, you'll forget vibration ever even presented problems to your system's sound.
Premium Quality, with Harmony Between Geometrical Relationships and Overall Finish
Hyperspike HF gives a reassuring air of professionalism and reliability befitting the objects it accommodates. It is a "technical" series wherein the aesthetic lies in the functional choices, such as the harmony of geometrical relationships, the chromatic contrast between surfaces, and the overall finish of its many parts. All the materials are of excellent quality, welded with maximum care, and crafted on the most sophisticated machinery.
The Details Are in the Design
The structural concept is functional, simple, and effective. It consists of an MDF light shelf (a specific type of Medium Density Fiberboard, very solid mechanically and acoustically), finished by a special black rubberized compound. Each type of finish offers sound absorbing and non-scratch properties. The shelf consists of a quadrangular design, noticeably rounded without corners to form a smooth, graceful profile that gives continuity to its aesthetic and practical features. The shelf is 30mm thick, 550mm deep at its maximum point (front to back), and 650mm wide, therefore capable of accommodating most audio and A/V components that often cannot be accommodated by the industry-standard 19-inch shelf size.
Maximum Support, Minimal Physical Contact
Hyperspike HF's four-pillar design is geometrically positioned to give maximum support and minimum physical contact with the surrounding environment. The rack stems are made of high-quality solid-steel rods, polished by a state-of-the-art process for a smooth and shimmering finish. In order to provide the necessary modular structure, the frames comprise a central segment of variable length to meet diverse requirements.
Adding to the technical composition are securing screws, insulating spikes (very strong, beautifully welded, adjustable, and strong locking with a clamping screw), and decoupling pads, also made of solid steel. Rubber o-rings, similar to a piston ring with the purpose of improving the fit while reducing the transmission of mechanical energy, complete the package.
